This is a view from my daily commute.Taken from my iPhone this morning.
So I took my lead on a date a week ago to a Thai place called Opal Thai were we talked about music, she is keen to some good music and not just "everything, especially chill stuff like jack johnson" which was refreshing. She has a grown up/mature way about her, though at the end of the day her licence (which is still pretty fresh) says born in 1993 on it. Anyways, after dinner I took her to the Kahuku Golf course hole #3's green and it was a super full moon. I took the guitar, her ipod speakers, and my Blanket made by Navajos.. We sat and played music together. She has a good voice! We then did some Latin dancing in the moonlight. Then we went back to music, and then just talking about life and the gospel. I'm totally enamored by her. Since the date I've skated with her and jammed with her, we even played at an open mic together this past weekend. So she left the Island today and I am not too stoked on that, but I didn't let myself get too attached to her so no harm no foul. She is really awesome. I will come to Provo for a few days before I leave to Israel and hopefully I get to see her. My tentative plans are to move to Provo in January and get a Social Work job to pay off my debt from BYUJ. After that apply to a few grad schools; SDSU, UH, and the U. We will see what happens. currently though, I am happily rockin a beard, going on a month now. GO KINGS!!! Super stoked on how well they are playing.I hyper extended my elbow skating so I am out of the water for a few weeks...I mean I still swim but no surfing or body-surfing heavy shore-break, which isn't too bad cause its summer and there are no waves.
