DUSTIN KENSRUE

So remember on your mission when you were forced to defend your religion to people of other faiths. For me that was one of the ways I grew the most doctrinally and helped solidify my testimony. Well just been listening to classic born again doctrine over at marshill.com, which is the church that Dustin Kensrue goes to. He is actually a worship leader over there, which means he coaches bands and leads prayer and scripture. You can read about it here:

The church is in Irvine and I think when Dustin gets back from tour Nate and I are gonna try and see him over there some time. Anyways The subject of grace and works are the biggest doctrinal traditions that born agains cling to. Mark Driscoll the head pastor and founder of mars hill church, (the church in which Dustin is a worship leader) says this about mormons :

Now Mark Driscoll, pastor of the high-profile Seattle-based Mars Hill Church, has added his voice to the fray -- agreeing that Christians should consider Mormons as members of a "cult" and not "brothers and sisters in a common faith."

"As the presidential race heats up and the prospect of a practicing Mormon as a viable Republican candidate becomes more a reality, there will be continued effort to bring Mormonism into the center of Christian orthodoxy. Thus, it's important to understand what the cult of Mormonism teaches, to understand that it's antithetical to Christianity, and that, while it's certain there are some Christians in the Mormon church who love the Jesus of the Bible and don't understand or agree with what their church teaches, the Mormon church could never be considered orthodox unless it made some serious and massive changes to it's theology..."

"Many Mormons are good neighbors, friends, and fellow citizens. But, we cannot go so far as to call them brothers and sisters in a common faith. To do so is to not only confuse real Christians, but to also diminish the importance of lovingly speaking with Mormons about the errors of their belief in hopes of seeing them come to know the real God of the Bible and avoiding eternal damnation for worshiping a false god."

so we can conclude that there is a likely chance that Dustin believes similarly about our religion........
Honestly the confusion the exists in the world on the doctrine of christianity is overwhelming. Can't wait until Christ is here on the earth to set things straight. can you imagine.......

  1. I'm sorry to BUTT in like this - BUT, I need all your's attention -
Someone has STOLEN my apple plates and replaced them with Jesus plates.
I won't take action if they are replaced by the time I get back to California (Tomorrow - Tuesday Night).
If they're not back (and in perfect condition), the perpetrator will be liable for any and all actions taken against him.
