8 months = San Diego Bound

It's been a long time since I've given any updates on here about school, work, and life.  Most of you know I did and internship this summer with Ernst and Young down in San Diego.  It was an awesome opportunity and truly a blessing.  They have offered me a full-time position once I have graduated, and we have decided that is the best option for our family so we have already formally accepted the offer! We are super stoked to finish up here in Utah and get back to southern California asap.  Emma just finished up her semester today, and has only 1 more left before graduating with her bachelors degree in  Dental Hygiene.  She is a champ and just continues to pound through her schooling.  So basically  the next 8 months are quite life changing, Emma graduates, I graduate, move to San Diego area (not sure exactly where yet, but want to stay close to the office in La Jolla prolly) and start my career.  It's crazy, but we are super excited to start this next phase in life.

Surf Surf Surf

It's Tuesday, and Hooze and I have surfed 6 times since Thursday. He came over on Wednesday last week and stayed till today. We caught some great waves and had a hoot. Also, we went body surfing a couple of times to try out my new creation (photographed below). Body surfing is actually really fun, and the hand plane works really well. Can't wait to surf with Nave Yarman this week.
And here's Jack, stoked to try heem out.

i pay for 9 holes but play 18

I would like to make a public statement and let the FGB know that I'm sorry for drinking my water with a straw also for eating my pizza with a fork and a knife. I know how much this may of hurt you to see a potential candidate throw everything away for temporary satisfaction. I hope that one day you can look over my mishaps and that i could possibly get put back onto the list. Thanks. Joe

BBQ, Drive-In and Activities

Last night was pretty hilarious. The Jarmans, Stowells and Alex and I all had a bbq at jeffe's, went swimming and then went to a drive-in movie.  It cost $14 for each couple to go see two movies (Total Recall and then The Amazing Spiderman). SMOKIN' deal.  Here are a few pics from the night.  Those of you who will be in Utah soon should go and do the drive-in deal.  Its pretty sweet.

I will be saying Aloha to Hawaii on Monday August 6th. I'm sad to leave, but I am ready to leave at the same time. I'm excited for the adventures and experiences i have ahead of me. I'm stoked to go home and see the family and surf and see you idiots. Hopefully I find a lead in Jerusalem. Can't wait for burritas!
